Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait Posted by Hello

I love the fact that the man in the foreground of this picture is trying so hard to pretend that he's not interested in what I'm doing. I've been taking photographs for a while now, and people's reactions are always, always, as interesting as the pictures. I haven't been able to discern any pattern in which strangers will want their pictures taken and which ones will yell at me.

That is so, so true! It's hard NOT to look at a camera when one's in your face...or pointing toward you. Even when they tell you not to look, you want to.

I like looking at the background (or even foreground) stuff that's not the main focus of the picture.

I love this picture.

I too, like looking at all parts of a picture. I think I'll try and take more that have no or multiple focal points. Whenever I look at this picture my eyes just keep moving. It's fun.

Wonderful pic!!!! The fact that this self-portrait foregrounds someone other than the photographer himself attests either to an intriguing sociological phenomenon or a refreshing exression of selflessness!
((geez, that sounded so serious, sorry!))
