Livestrong

So my dad is one of my heroes, but for a lot of people it's Lance Armstrong. I written about Lance before, but due to recent developments, I feel that an update is in order. Let's recap the dominant events in Lance's recent past. First, he becomes a professional cyclist. Then he gets roughly 93 different kinds of cancer, sees the white light at the end of the dark tunnel on more than one occassion, fights his way back, and starts riding his bicycle again. He becomes the greatest cyclist ever, world famous and universally beloved (except by the French). Then, he divorces his wife and kids who helped him recover from the cancer and moves in with a rock star. Finally, he breaks off the engagement with said rock star just months before she announces that she has breast cancer. Hero? Really? Not according to my math. It just doesn't add up.
