So this is it, the last blog. Thanks to all of you (the 5 of you) who read this thing regularly. At first, I was willing to do this even if nobody read it, but for the last 4 or 5 months the only reason I kept on doing it was because of the overwhelmingly positive feedback I was getting from ya'll. It was that feedback which encourages me to take this hiatus from photoblogging. I'm convinced that this is a good medium for me for a lot of reasons (many of which I'm sure I will blog about in the coming months), so you can be sure that pictures will one day return to this space. In the meantime though it will be thoughts posted about specific ideas, concepts or themes about photography that I'm trying to work out (what some sociologists call "memos"). As always, feel free to leave thoughts, comments or suggestions on these posts. I welcome all feedback, positive, negative, constructive or otherwise.
I hope it's been as fun for ya'll as it has been for me. Thanks again, everyone, especially you, Megan for putting up with this "hobby."

I wish you the best with your future endeavors, Josh, and I'll be watching for updates. I'm certainly looking forward to enjoying your new photography projects as you move forward. Good luck!
I have loved the blog and your hobby. I look forward to being there as your hobby changes and grows. You have a lot of books to read but I hope as you read you continue to take interesting pictures to help you learn along the way. I can't wait to see what project you are going to do first.
Thank you for opening yourself up to us, sharing both your photos and "stories" as reflections of yourself. Your balance of vulnerability and self-confidence should be a model for us all, and I think your work is simply awesome. I wish you a future full of new challenges that continue to push your boundaries and I look forward to seeing where these challenges take both your art and your person.
Yes, please keep the stuff coming--stuff being writings, musings, pictures, whatever. I like them all now, in the future, yesterday.
Thank you all so much. Those are very sweet comments. It's what keeps me going.
Josh, I have gotten to know and understand you better from this endevor.
I look foward to your next adventure.
love,
Dad
I remember back when I could count on I See Stuff to keep me going. Tsunamis could wipe out nations, and hurricanes entire cities, but I knew there'd always be a pretty photo on Mondays and Thursdays. Now I feel lost and forgotten, abandoned to a hollow blogosphere populated with the likes of myfourwalls.net and bteo.modblog.com. Sad days indeed.
