Locks of Love

My wife Megan, a huge Peyton Manning fan, just donated her hair to Locks of Love this weekend. She had been growing her hair out for 3 years just for this purpose. You can see a before picture of her in the archives here. Her hair was so long and thick that the lady said it was like she was donating twice, because they would use her her hair as two poneytails. Locks of Love provides hair prosthetics for children who can't grow their own hair. Not only did she do it herself, but she rounded up three of her co-workers to do it with her. Kudos to Jennifer Wilcox at The Salon at Green Hills for cutting and styling her hair for free. If you want more information visit the Locks of Love website here. They even have a link for a state by state listing of people who will cut your hair for free.

That is so very cool, and those who benefit from such a gift will most certainly be thankful for the sacrifice.
