Why do we love to take pictures of our pets so much? I just met a professional photographer whose card offered his services for Weddings, Events, and Pets. He said nearly half of his business is people wanting portraits of their pets. That seems crazy to me, and yet as I go through my photographs I find that I have more pictures of my dogs than I do of my wife. Why are we obsessed with photographing our animals?
